A Webinar with Emily Graham
& Carey Glenn
September 5th, 11 am Central Time
About the Online Class:
We are all familiar with the role of adrenaline and it’s place in facilitating the birth process. In this webinar we look at this powerful hormone from a new perspective; as it exists in the body of the birth attendant. This webinar will teach how to recognize the presence of adrenaline, how to use it wisely and how to discharge it without unnecessarily disturbing the birthing person.
What You Will Walk Away With:
This webinar will shine a light on an important and rarely discussed topic; the role of the birth attendants personal chemical make up at a birth. The webinar will discuss and how adrenaline and other stress hormones are normal at birth AND how they can affect everyone around. The presenters will discuss: how to recognize, how to harness it for benefits and how to diffuse it if needed.
Who is this class for?
Anyone who attends births: midwives, doulas, nurses, partners! We all feel that surge of adrenaline and we all need to know the skill of how to recognize it and what to do with it!
