This talk was so helpful for me, thank you for your thoughts! I had invited my mother to my upcoming unassisted birth, and it hasn’t been sitting well with me, so I appreciate you sharing your experience and insight. It’s helped me to navigate through my own feelings!
This episode really spoke to me. I have a home birth coming up and have had to tell my best friend, who is pregnant as well, that she won’t be able to come. She has a lot of fear and only puts her trust in the medical community. It did not sit well with her when I told her, but after listening to this episode I know that I made the correct decision.
