Meet the duo behind Indie Birth
We are mamas and midwives who decided to do birth differently– and bring others along with us. We are radical, fun to work with, and great at (lovingly) calling people on their bullshit to help move us all towards a new more beautiful world. With 12 children and over two decades of midwifery between us, we’ve learned a thing or two along the way, and Indie Birth is our space to share it all with you.

Hello
I am a final year student midwife training in the South. I attended a breech birth study day in 2013 which truly inspired me. I am interested to put a piece in my portfolio (final assessment for this year) about breech birth and would like to base it around reflections on a picture or a sculpture of breech birth. I have found a single pendant depicting a sort of breech so far but nothing more, and was hoping you might perhaps be able to point me in the right direction to get something I could work around?
Thanks so much, Alex

Absolutely love this podcast. I will definitely be listening to this again as I go later into my pregnancy. I never thought about breech birth in my previous pregnancy and home birth, but for some reason I am really interested in it this pregnancy. I already felt that I could birth my baby breech if that’s what he wants and needs, but all of the information presented just really cleared up a ton of questions and gave me a serious sense of confidence and ease if breech birth is whats to come for me and baby. Thank you for putting this together. Very well spoken and presented!!!
