In this podcast, I talk about homebirth to hospital transports. Why is there such stigma around this? How do we talk about “needed” transport in an era of midwifery at home being defined by “rules and regulations? How do we deal emotionally with transport when we are the mamas? Or the Midwives?
This is an emotionally charged topic in the home birth world and I hope that my thoughts help bring this back to earth! Transports will happen as long as birth is happening and with some intention and attention, we can make the most of this situation.
