Meet the duo behind Indie Birth
We are mamas and midwives who decided to do birth differently– and bring others along with us. We are radical, fun to work with, and great at (lovingly) calling people on their bullshit to help move us all towards a new more beautiful world. With 12 children and over two decades of midwifery between us, we’ve learned a thing or two along the way, and Indie Birth is our space to share it all with you.

Hello,
I’m Timara. I am totally interested in vaginal steaming. I have had pretty much any vaginal and uterine problems that you could think of: irregular periods, cyst, fibroids, (in the past HPV, CIN3 I had a leep done to remove CIN 3 and paps were all normal afterwards) and thisngs have been successful. Also, I have breastfed for 6 years and experience vaginal dryness on and off.
Considering this info, what herbs will help heal me?
Keli mentioned the steaming has been beneficial for prolapsed uterus. I’m thinking it might also be helpful in rebuilding the pelvic floor after birth. I hope someone can research this also 🙂
Amazing podcast!
