We are mamas and birth workers who decided to do birth differently– and bring others along with us. We are kind, fun to work with, and great at (lovingly) calling people on their bullshit. With 12 children and 20 years of midwifery between us, we’ve learned a thing or two along the way, and Indie Birth is our space to share it all with you.

I am just listening to this months later. I’m so sorry. Thank you so much for sharing this story. Love, light, and hugs <3

  2. Zephalinde says:

Dear Maryn, thank you so much for your open and honest sharing, it inspired me to write down my personal experiences and process another layer. Love to you and all who experiences this type of loss.

  3. Luz says:

What a beautiful podcast. Thanks for sharing. I felt most of what you described in my first pregnancy/miscarriage. It is not a heavy period,it is not. When you have your period you feel is the end of the cycle. A miscarriage is losing your beloved baby. It is so painful spiritually than the physical pain is nothing compared to the deep sadness, doubts, and mix of feelings. I think it is very important to talk about it, because I was lost when it happened to me. I’m sorry someone mentioned you already have kids. Each human is unique and irreplaceable, our hearts can love deeply each of them. It is something we will never forget, but of course we should heal with love. Thanks again.
