Meet the duo behind Indie Birth
We are mamas and midwives who decided to do birth differently– and bring others along with us. We are radical, fun to work with, and great at (lovingly) calling people on their bullshit to help move us all towards a new more beautiful world. With 12 children and over two decades of midwifery between us, we’ve learned a thing or two along the way, and Indie Birth is our space to share it all with you.

I know this is four years old now but wanted to say I listened and thanks. In all the reading I have done to prepare for my vbac I hadn’t read about the pain of adhesions tearing apart. I’m glad to know that is a possibility because I may have gotten scared feeling that in labor. Also, love the idea of writing the c-section doctor. I think I’ll write some letter to my previous care providers too. Even if I never send them the act of writing it will feel so good.
