Meet the duo behind Indie Birth
We are mamas and midwives who decided to do birth differently– and bring others along with us. We are radical, fun to work with, and great at (lovingly) calling people on their bullshit to help move us all towards a new more beautiful world. So much of your story struck similarities to my first births, the ‘dysfunctional’ labor patterns and self doubt that really changed how we viewed birth and getting in touch with our inner voice and knowing. ❤️
Such an inspiring story! I had an C-section with my first which was scare tactics from the doctors and could not wait to be done with me and empty their high dollar room for another momma, and then a successful VBAC but a failed HBAC because my midwife gave up on me. :(. I feel horrible for any woman that is scared or pushed to a C-section without a real reason. This time around I am taking matters in my hands and will not let anyone put fear in my birth! Thank you so much for sharing!!
