ABOUT THIS CLASS:
Join Gail as she talks story. Gail will share her path to becoming a traveling midwife, her larger why. She will also share specific “how to’s” of creating a life as a traveling midwife. Gail will also share with us how she not only uses traveling to help the women she serves but also to help other women who are wanting midwifery knowledge where she serves. She uses the length of the time that she spends with various communities to share basic and fundamental knowledge of midwifery while practicing cultural appropriately.
ABOUT OUR PRESENTER:
Gail Johnson is an elder midwife of 28 years. She is currently a traveling home birth and water birth midwife. She travels all over the world where home birth, natural birth, or water birth is not readily available. She has worked in Turkey, Portugal, Japan, China, Nicaragua, Canada, United States, Belize, and Mexico. Gail is also a conference speaker and workshop leader and feels inspired to help those who do not have access to midwifery training learn more about the skills and art of midwifery.
